This is not a craze over four long haired kids from Liverpool but a craze over the beetle that is killing pine trees all over the state. This Saturday will mark the 2nd annual Beetle Fest it will be hosted in Frisco on the Main Street. The Fest will include education and awareness regarding the devastation caused by the mountain pine beetle, live entertainment, a bug petting zoo, 4K beetle stomp and a bug slug. It is a great way to get out and have a good time and at the same time learn and support a very good cause. If you like it or not the beetle is here to stay it i only going to get worse not better. If all the pine trees are gone it could greatly hurt businesses all over the valley. Who wants to get Vail Ski rentals when all the trees are dead? People need to be more aware and learn what they can do to help.
