If you are looking to get away from everybody and want to find powder, check out Royal Elk Glade. Take Grouse Mountain Express Lift and exit to the right. Take a deep breath and proceed down the catwalk, a very small cat walk. The farther you go down, the more untouched things are but at anytime you can drop into the trees. The trees are not extremely tight and there is room for error. So if the snow is in the forecast, make a bee line to the Royal Elk Glade.
