Beaver Creek, besides for its excellent skiing, is known for its array of fine dining options. But I urge you, if possible, leave your Beaver Creek ski rentals behind one evening and venture outside the gates. Less than 10 minutes away awaits my favorite Valley restaurant, The Gashouse. It’s a casual setting that feels more like a hunting lodge than a restaurant. The menu highlights are a wide variety of game and seafood. Quail, duck, elk, venison, bison, lobster, shrimp, crab…you can’t go wrong.
