In Avon, over the past years there has been a development going on that includes both shopping and hotel accommodations. With this they have also built a Riverfront Gondola. This Gondola serves people to the lower Beaver Creek lift, which can access both Arrowhead and Beaver Creek Mountains. For locals in the area, people like to take the Gondola into town to run errands like the grocery, bank, and restaurants. This gondola is also convenient for skiers and snowboards that don’t need to worry about parking at Beaver Creek lots.
