Snowboard Parks in Beaver Creek

by admin on February 1, 2009

I have recently got into going to the snowboard parks in Beaver Creek. If you are not experienced with going off of big jumps and doing rails, then Beaver Creek is a great place to learn. If you need to rent equipment, then stop by one of Beaver Creek ski rental shops. They have great skis and snowboards and the employees are very knowledgeable. If you are not very good in the parks then I suggest starting with the easy one then move on to the more advanced. Go up the Centennial Express, and then go the the Birds of Prey Express to the left at the top of the Centennial Lift. Get on Birds of Prey Express and go to the right at the top. This is a great learning park, you can go to the easy or medium park. They both have rails and boxes, but the medium park has three jumps. Once you have mastered the these parks, go to the advanced park on Centennial. The jumps are bigger and the rails are more difficult. Good luck, be safe and wear a helmet. If you need a helmet you can rent one at the ski rental shop that you got your equipment from.
